47 years-old, from France, Corbe is a very experienced engineer with an
impressive curriculum vitae: he was track engineer at Prost Grand Prix in F.1
for 4 seasons, and worked in the same role in GP2 at ART and DAMS helping
the teams to achieve great results. In 2007 he was the track engineer of
Kazuki Nakajima, helping him in becoming the best rookie of the year with five
podiums in a row. In the 2008-2009 winter he followed Kamui Kobayashi in his
winning GP2 Asia campaign.
Paolo Coloni: "We are very happy of having Bruno with us, because he has
great experience. If you look at his latest seasons you can clearly see that all
the drivers he followed as a track engineer clinched podium finishes and wins,
and that's why we decided to give him the chief engineer role in our team. We
believe that this will be a further step to a very competitive season".
Bruno Corbe: "I accepted the proposal from Scuderia Coloni with great
enthusiasm, also because the Technical Director role represents a new challenge
for me. I've seen the team in the last GP2 Asia weekend, and was impressed
by their skill, and professionalism. Besides that, I see a great determination in
everybody, and I feel dad we have everything is needed to achieve great
results".
