Villa joins Arden in Abu Dhabi

The Arden GP2 team confirm that experienced GP2 driver Javier Villa will join the team this weekend, at the next round of the GP2 Asia Championship in Abu Dhabi.

Villa (22) has both GP2 Asia and GP2 Main Series races under his belt, but this will be his first GP2 Asia race this Season, he finished 10th overall in the last GP2 Asia Season, and his first visit to the Yas Marina circuit. Javier finished 10th overall in the GP2 Main Series in 2009 and has won 3 races.

Javier has been involved with GP2 since 2006 and is familiar with these cars - the first Dallara GP2 model when he joined the Series.
