James Hinchcliffe And Team Moore Racing Ink Deal For 2010Pittsboro, IN - Team Moore Racing is thrilled to announce it has signed James Hinchcliffe for the 2010 FIL season. The twenty-three year old Canadian, who finished fifth in the 2009 Series Championship, will drive the #2 Xtreme Coil Drilling machine as Adrian Campos, Jr's teammate.
"We are really pleased to add James to our team. James showed tremendous talent last year and will be one of the serious contenders for the championship this year," said co-owner and fellow Canadian, Tom Wood. "I am incredibly excited to be joining Team Moore. I had a strong season last year in my rookie attempt; I learned a lot and now I want to put what I learned to good use for an attack on the title. I think that we have gathered a really good group of people, like Lee, who have a ton of experience and we are more motivated than ever to be fighting up front. I am looking forward to working with Adrian as well and hopefully we can get ourselves up to the sharp end. I want to thank Mark and everyone at TMR, my family and all the people who helped me get this season on track," said James Hinchcliffe. Another fantastic addition to the team this year is legendary engineer, Lee Dykstra. "TMR offers a great opportunity to bring out the potential in James which was evident when I first worked with him in Atlantics," said Lee Dykstra. "He is an excellent communicator and has shown great speed at times. His experience and desire to win this year will position TMR and James as championship contenders. I have observed TMR the past two years and was impressed with their car preparation and presentation in the paddock. I am looking forward to working with Mark Moore and the team. My initial dealings with Mark have shown that we are on the same page when it comes to car set-up and attention to detail," concluded Dykstra. "We have worked very hard here at TMR to put all the right people in place. James and Lee should prove to be one of those rare combinations of driver and engineer, not often seen in our sport. They certainly will be a very formidable force in our series. I look forward to the coming Firestone Indy Lights Championship with great anticipation," said co-owner Mark Moore.
