Comprent Motor Sports has an extensive history of competing and succeeding in premier race series in North America, and that trend is set to continue in 2012. Building on its recent success in the Formula Enterprises ranks - which includes a record-setting Formula Enterprises Pro Series title win in 2010 by 15 year-old Sean Rayhall - Comprent will field one or more cars in the National class (featuring Zetec-powered F2000 cars and Formula Enterprises cars) of the USF2000 National Championship. With the new program, the squad is now is ideally positioned to continue its role of developing young talent, providing up-and-coming racers with all the tools to showcase their talents within the prestigious Mazda Road to Indy program at a cost effective price. The move into USF2000 competition also reunites the Georgia team with the revitalized series, as Comprent previously competed in the inaugural running of the series in the 1990's.

"We are excited about the chance to race the Formula Enterprises car in the USF2000 National Championship," stated Comprent Motor Sports owner Kevin Kloepfer. "As part of the Mazda Road to Indy program, it is a great opportunity for talented up-and-coming drivers to make their mark. Given you can run the full season for approximately $100,000, considerably less than anything else at this level, we are hoping we can get one or two talented young drivers behind the wheel this season."

Comprent Motor Sports is currently seeking drivers with the talent and desire to challenge for top honors in the National class of the USF2000 National Championship. Kloepfer and his talented crew, which includes veteran standouts Terry Jinks (Engineer) and Chuck Fuller (Mechanic), have the experience and expertise to not only help racers get the most from themselves and their racing steed, but also help develop young talented racers into championship-winning race car professionals.

Comprent Motor Sports' quest for Cooper Tires Presents the USF2000 National Championship Powered by Mazda glory begins on March 16-17, as part of the 60th Anniversary Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring. Ahead of the season-opener, the Georgia-based team will conduct private testing and potentially take part in the second annual Cooper Tires Winterfest series, which gets underway on February 6-7, at Sebring International Raceway. Interested drivers are encouraged to contact Kloepfer.
