Carlin's British F3 drivers delivered a promising performance following two days at the Snetterton circuit today. All five of Carlin's drivers finished the second day of running day within the top 12, with Adriano Buzaid, Jean-Eric Vergne and James Calado finishing the day third, fourth and fifth quickest respectively.

Wet weather and misty condition once again compromised testing this morning, with track action halted several times due to poor visibility.

Following a day an half of rain, conditions finally improved this afternoon to allow the drivers some dry running. All five Carlin drivers were on the pace with Formula BMW graduate Jazeman Jaafar getting to grips with the drier conditions on his first test at the Snetterton circuit. The 17 year-old racer posted the third quickest time late on in the day. As track conditions improved, the young Malaysian was pushed down the order but was happy with his first official F3 test, finishing eighth overall.

Team mates Buzaid, Vergne and Calado all traded places at the top of the time sheets as they made various set up changes to finish the day within the top five. Formula BMW graduate Rupert Svendsen-Cook also made good progress as he continued to get to grips with the Volkswagen powered Carlin Dallara.

Speaking about the two day test, Buzaid said "I think we did a good job, we were consistently among the quickest over the two days which shows we are moving in the right direction. We did some really good development work and I think we have a good package to start the season. I'm looking forward to building on this progress at Rockingham next week."

Carlin race director Trevor Carlin added, "I'm really pleased with the team's performance this week. It was a great start to the year and I think all five drivers did a brilliant job. We did some good work on set up and we'll continue our test programme next week at Rockingham, where hopefully we'll have a little more dry running!"

Carlin will continue their preparations for the 2010 Cooper Tires British F3 International Series at the second official test of the year at the Rockingham circuit from 1 - 2 March.
