2010 Formula 3 Euro Series with impressive TV presence

On 10th April, the Formula 3 Euro series is going to kick off its new season - a season featuring races in five European countries: Germany, France, Great Britain, the Netherlands and Spain, with 10 of the 18 races being held on five race weekends in Germany. In Germany alone, the 2010 Formula 3 Euro Series will be covered by three TV stations.

For the first time, the news channel n-tv will cover both rounds of the race weekends live. This means that n-tv will cover all the nine race weekends on Saturday and Sunday - and in addition, it will provide exciting background features and interviews with the young drivers. Furthermore, the station's motor-racing magazine 'PS - Spezial Motorsport' (broadcasted on Tuesday) also will feature Formula 3 Euro Series content.

Meanwhile, the German sports channel DSF will bring from April 2010 - under the new name 'SPORT1' - Formula 3 Euro Series roundups on Saturday ('Formel 3') and Sunday ('DTM Magazin') evening. In addition, SPORT1 will report about the planet's most competitive young-gun series in its motor-racing magazine 'Motodrom' on Wednesday.

In its one-hour format 'DTM Magazin', DMAX will broadcast for the second consecutive year roundups of the entire DTM weekend including looks behind the curtains of the Formula 3 Euro Series. The 60 minute magazine is brought on the Sunday afternoon following the respective race weekend.

Meanwhile, the global TV presence of the Formula 3 Euro Series is just as impressive. As things are now, the races of the young-gun series will be covered live or re-live by 12 stations in 35 countries, with race roundups being broadcasted in several countries. Currently, the negotiations with additional TV stations are running to make for an even bigger international TV presence of the series. In 2009, the international Formula 3 Euro Series coverage added up to a total of 1,100 hours.
