Valtteri Bottas (ART Grand Prix): and Alexander Sims (ART Grand Prix), the two best rookies of the 2009 season, are determined to also make it to the very top in the championship, this year. And Edoardo Mortara (Signature), who is going to make his Formula 3 Euro Series comeback following a GP2 season and his win in the 2009 Macau Grand Prix, has set himself the same goal. The kick-off of the 2010 Formula 3 Euro Series season exceptionally will be held in the support programme of the Le Mans Series and not together with DTM at Hockenheim. In the Le Mans Series featuring sports cars and GT vehicles, former Formula 1 aces such as Nigel Mansell, Giancarlo Fisichella or Jean Alesi will battle it out with the likes of former DTM driver and Le Mans legend Tom Kristensen. Furthermore, one of the Formula 3 Euro Series teams - Signature - also is involved in the Le Mans Series.

Edoardo Mortara (Signature): "Le Castellet will be a very special race. For the first time, we will have to cope with the Le Mans vehicle's rubber wear on the track. In addition, the circuit features an extremely long straight that allows for many slip-stream battles and overtaking manoeuvres. Should a group of cars be battling for the lead, you will need a dose of luck and the right position in the group if you want to cross the line as race winner."
