The races of the planet's most competitive young-gun series again will be held in five different European countries, in 2010. The new calendar comprises nine events with two races being contested per race weekend. Eight of the nine Formula 3 Euro Series events once again will be held in the support programme of DTM, the most popular international touring-car series. New on the 2010 calendar is the season opener held at Le Castellet, France, within the scope of the French Le Mans Series. And as usual, the Formula Euro Series season finale will be held at Hockenheim, as part of the season's last DTM weekend on German soil.

"We are delighted with having once again succeeded in creating - in cooperation with FFSA and DMSB - a calendar that is attractive for our young drivers, the media and the motor-racing enthusiasts," said Walter Mertes, Managing Director of the 'Formel 3 Euro Serie Vermarktungs GmbH'.

The official Formula 3 Euro Series pre-season tests will be held at Barcelona (17th to 18th March) and Valencia (22nd to 23rd March), this year.
