Arden Goes For GoldArden International approaches every GP2 Series race with the same dedication and commitment - but it is particularly keen to obtain a good result this weekend at Silverstone, its home circuit. The team is based just a few miles away, in Banbury, and its hopes of a strong result were boosted when Charles Pic produced another strong qualifying performance to set seventh fastest qualifying time - although he will actually start sixth. Team-mate Rodolfo Gonzalez faces a more difficult afternoon at the revised, 3.666-mile circuit. He will start tomorrow's 29-lap race from 21st position. Charles: "I didn't get much running in free practice, because of an engine problem, and unfortunately that prevented me evaluating some new set-up ideas we wanted to try. The lack of track time made things a bit harder during qualifying, but I was happy enough with seventh - and that becomes sixth because Christian Vietoris was given a 10-place grid penalty at the previous race. "After looking at the data, it's clear that there are one or two small things I can improve on the new section of the track, but that's a result of not having done many laps in free practice. It was hard to provide much feedback in the circumstances, but hopefully we have a good platform on which to build for the rest of the weekend. I owe a huge vote of thanks to my mechanics, incidentally - they changed my engine in less than three hours. I will try to pay them back in the race." Rodolfo: "I'm not very happy. We did a lot of preparation work for today's session but the results still don't match my expectations. I felt as though I was quick enough, but I didn't manage to put a really good lap together. I will keep pushing, though, and hope I can obtain a much better result tomorrow."
