Franchitti Places Second at Honda Indy Toronto![]() Results from Toronto 1. Will Power, No. 12 Honda Dallara 2. Dario Franchitti, No. 10 Air Wick Honda Dallara 3. Ryan Hunter-Reay, No. 37 Honda Dallara 20. Scott Dixon, No. 9 Target Honda Dallara TORONTO - Team Target had another strong run at Toronto with both drivers running in the top-five throughout the majority of the Honda Indy Toronto in Round 10 of the IZOD IndyCar Series. Dario Franchitti brought the No. 10 Air Wick Honda Dallara home in second while Scott Dixon finished 20th. Franchitti lined-up fifth on the grid and moved up two positions on the first lap of the race. He ran in the top-three throughout most of the event - leading the field for 22 of 85 laps. Dixon started from the sixth position and had a strong run through the beginning stages of the race. With 12 laps to go, Dixon was running in fourth when he was forced wide and made contact with the wall. The No. 9 Target machine sustained significant damage and Dixon would settle for a disappointing 20th place result. With the finishes, Franchitti remains second in the championship with 335 points - just 42 points behind leader Will Power. Dixon sits third in the championship with 299 points - 78 points out of the top spot. Up next for Team Target is Round 11 of the IZOD IndyCar Series at the Honda Indy Edmonton Sunday, July 25 (5:00 p.m. ET, VERSUS). TCGR Quoteboard: Scott Dixon: "I made a bit of a bobble coming out of Turn 1. The cars in front of me were kind of messing around, they missed it a little bit. I followed a bit too hard and Ryan (Hunter-Reay) had a bit of a run. I held my typical line, moved over to the left, and he dove under. I had to go somewhere. He was just carrying way too much speed and hit the front of my car and put us in the tires. Before that, the car was pretty quick. We had troubles early on in the race but we definitely came back. Thought we could have had a shot at fourth or fifth but it didn't work out."
